HELLO I HAVE A W211 E500 AND THE TRANSMISSION ONLY RUNS IN SPEED 1 AND DOES NOT CHANGE ALREADY I BUY THE BRAKE SWICH SENSOR AND FOLLOW THE SAME PROBLEM SOMEONE CAN HELP ME ..

Same year and car here - my symptoms since getting the car three years ago were bucking tranny on acceleration which gradually became worse over time. I replaced the filter and fluid 6 months ago and no improvement. Eventually car started having shifting problems like sticking in a gear or losing all power and I'd have to turn the car off and restart to continue.

Finally I bit the bullet and replaced the conductor plate and valve body. Also replaced a few other things (not related to transmission). The car now runs great. No more issues with the tranny. Should have done this three years ago. First time also no engine codes or lights showing up.

Thanks for the information but I connected a scanner and I found 42 codes I do not know because then I made a complete reset to all the codes and the car I started to run perfectly it seems that the transmission cards were beaded I think but haora is perfect this information Serve someone else thanks

W211 E320 CDI Sportpackage With Carlsson CD32 Chip 2004

if the transmission doesn't change from W/S in the cluster then its 99% ur conductor plate or one of those solenoids. The solenoids usually are good, its usually speedsensor 2/3.

2006 Mercedes E350

I had issue with E350 stuck in 1st gear. I would clear the codes and worked fine for a few weeks/months, then would happen again. Kept doing it until it finally wouldn't clear. Replaced the valve body and no issues since.

Now I have Low Battery issue...
