Exclamation Broken door Handle? (E-350)

Today,I noticed my driver side door handle was protruding out. I'm assuming some random person must of been yanking on the door handle thinking it was their car. Do I need to replace the door handle or can the handle be readjusted?

It appears that the handle is too far off to the left,so it's not closing correctly. The door still opens but it takes if couple of tries.

It depends if the hing is damaged internally. Check it out for debris.

There's a DIY on how to change the door handles if there's a keyless go problem. Taking the handle out shouldn't take more than 15-30 minutes, I think it's just one screw that holds things in. If it's not keyless go I think the handle is cheaper maybe under $100 if you get it online and depending on color or get one on eBay.

Remove handle, as suggested inspect assembly - may be repairable, see attachments.

how would you know if someone mistaken your car for their, were there more than one Mercedes where you were parked? Initially it looks like someone was trying to break in but I could been wrong, depends on where you were parked and what kind of area it was. Sorry to see someone did "accidentally" damaged your handle.

Hopefully, the handle can just be adjusted. I hope,i can avoid spending a $100.

I highly doubt someone was trying to break into my car. I work right by the Google campus, and there was a handful of other Mercedes in the parking lot. It was probably some tech fitness jerk that yanked on my door handle and damaged it. Hopefully,I'll be able to just pop the handle back into place.
