Hi I'm a newbie here and this is my first post. Badly need some assistance.

I recently overhauled my engine and gearbox about 2 years ago and have not been driving my car for about 2 years because I was out of country. Battery drained out and asked a friend to install new battery and he installed it wrongly where positive into negative and negative into positive for few hours and installed it correctly again.

issues I'm facing

1- key unlock and alarm does not work
2- gear transmission is stuck on maybe 2nd gear and I cannot use the manual method to shift my gears as well

Appreciate any trick or hack I can do to sort my problem.

I have tried the TCU reset but still it's the same

please help

u fried some sam unit or ecu tcu egs52 chip.

clear codes, erase them while stationary engine and see if they come back.
