Steering wheel controls not working

Steering wheel controls not working

2005 E55 amg

Steering wheel buttons functioned fine until unplug the battery to change airbag, stopped because improper tools, plug battery back in, no steering wheel controls working. Changed airbag with proper tools, still no controls. Now driver side window auto up stopped working, and auto sunroof stopped working.

Where should I check next?

I haven't checked the clock spring, but then again I'm not sure how to exactly. I know how to remove the steering wheel, but will there be noticeable damage to the ribbon?

Thank you for the documents, I'll be resetting the windows here soon, do they have a similar process for the steering wheel buttons? Paddle shifters don't work either
