Climate control Cluster and Instrument Cluster not working.

So basically I put in a new head unit and it worked fine but the center vents didn't work so I pulled it out and the vents worked again. I tried it about two times with the same result checking to see what wire it might have been crushing. Anyway then the clusters stated stopped working entirely simultaneously. I continued to check and noticed my 3 pin connector for the climate control had some slightly exposes wire where it could touch the deck. I searched fuses and could not find any burned ones. Can anyone help?

The vehicle is an 03 E500 sport

Sounds like the alternator. As mentioned, put a digital meter to the battery when the vehicle is running and see if it registers around 13 - 14V. If not, than you have your proof.
