i'm curious about something (finance question)
I leased a e320 last dec and now i'm thinking maybe I should of gotten a E500, My question is, is that is there any cost effective way to trade up a leased car? I'm through mercedes finance if that matters. also what numbers would you need to know to calculate if its even worth while or not

Generally on a lease you are obligated to stick it out till the end of the lease unless the dealer is willing to eat the difference in the car's value and your buyout.

By the way, I lease my C320 and tried to go to an E500 4Matic and the dealer was unwilling to eat the 5k difference to get me into the E500.
I hope this doesnt discourage you though, you should still have a talk with your dealer and see what they can do for you.

What you want to do is tough without having to eat some big money. I've had friends that have done this, and have paid through the teeth to get in to a better car, but to them it was worth it.
But, and alternative that can work out is that if you can find someone who is willing to take over your lease, usually for a nominal fee you can transfer the lease to someone else, usually for less that $500. Then, you can enter a brand new lease for an E500 seperate from that deal.

yeah man u r too young too loose that kinda money. Wait out the lease. I am leasing my 320 too. I am more than happy with the HP though-BIG improvement over my current c240 haha
