Rear Ambient Light fixture/noise
I have had my car in the shop once for a problem with noise, such of crumpling paper, it comes from beneath the ambient light ring that surrounds the rear fixture and only when the sunroof is open....due to the wind/air pressure on it.
Of course when the sunroof is closed that noise is not present.
I can duplicate that noise with the sunroof closed merely by putting some pressure on that ring with my fingers.
They tech said that he put some foam lining between the inside of the ring and the headliner. It was a lot quieter after that but it still shows up about 35 mph and greater. Of course, I will be taking it back for another attempt to cure this.
