Hi guys, I have a 2006 e350 in canada and i'm trying to add a sub. i had a long what looked like a speaker cover in trunk so thought i could just T into that and go on with my day... I removed the dampening thing and saw an empty space... there's no speakers, I guess it's the very basic stereo with gps? I'm hesitant about messing with the doors because of the air bags, do I just take it in? do I have to take the head unit out and attempt to put everything behind the stock unit?

i hear some wires might be fiber optic too so i have that fear also... I have searched and what others did and everyone seemed to have a stock sub atleast... so im stuck :-p sorry for asking a question asked 1 million times before but i'd take more pride if i did myself opposed to taking in
