I need to replace the SBC unit but the label is scrapped off so I don't know which one it is. Can anyone tell me which OEM part numbers that are compatible and I can use? I see there are quite a few potential pumps and don't want to buy the wrong one.

Hi, I am also having problems with my SBC unit and would like to source a good, used replacement. The SBC unit is numbered 004 431 42 12 and the ABS unit number is 032 545 65 32.
My VIN number is WDB2110262A220370
Would you be able to let me know what SBC units would fit my car please. Its a 2002 W211 E320CDi
Thanks
Andy

Sorry guys, especially you Konigstiger, but I sorted out my brake problem.
I had fitted an aftermarket ABS sensor, that was a new one, but quite cheap. Didn't want to spend lots of money on a genuine Mercedes part. Call me stingy.
My hand-held diagnostic machine said I had a problem with that one and I replaced it with another, branded item, And now my brakes work.
I had replaced the ABS ring on the rear driveshafts, but the bad sensor threw everything out. Would definitely be worth you checking out sensors on each wheel, before buying a replacement SBC unit. Perhaps?
Stupid F in system....
Oh, and do any of you guys wonder why lots of cars go past your garage and you are the only one working regularly to fix your own car? A Mercedes.
