Use the simulation program before running the actual program to familiarize yourself with the process. If you don't have the simulation program, just use the star diagnostic system; it will step you through the process.
Basically the process (at least for my W211) is:
-Jackstands
-Remove wheels
-Connect star, step into the airmatic suspension section (SAS?)
-Use DAS to reduce air bag pressure to ~3 bar. Loosen air lines onT-block at rear of car. Use DAS to complete releasing air bag pressure to atmosphere.
-Install new bags.
-Tighten the air lines on the T-block.
- Inflate according to instructions in star.

Is there any way of releasing the pressure on the rear Airmatic bags on my E55 without needing Star?
