DVD COMMAND and MP3

Hi
My car is 4 wks old and the Comand plays DVD's & MP3's, but there is a small issue with the file structure. It will only see up to 30ish folders, so u can only use about a quarter of a DVD disc for MP3's. I am waiting for Stuttgart to come back to me. I would guess a software upgrade will allow yours to play them, but there seems to be a delay issuing it. Probably partly because of the issue I have.

i heard that if you're in europe you can get a software update that will make dvd navi play dvds and cd player play mp3 cd's
i tested both in my car and it doesnt work...i asked the dealer about it and he said that isnt possible.....then again these were the same people that didnt realize that the e class has 2 different style of grills...

Our new E class will be arriving in the next few weeks. While we were in Germany I specifically asked if it would play regular video dvd's. The rep said yes, but after numerous tries we couldnt get it to work. What options do we have to be able to play Video dvds and/or cd's with mp3 files? I am a little unclear on the whole subject to say the least.

euro versus US comand article; there are more different 211 comands available but the basic difference between euro and US are to be found in all 211 comands...
