"Header Advice"

Looking at installing a pair of Eurocharged stainless steel mid-length headers on my 2003 E500 and have a couple of questions.
Is it worth $340 to have them ceramic coated?
Are flexpipes a good idea to prevent cracking of the welds if my motor mounts go bad or the engine moves excessively during extreme acceleration?
Thanks for the advice.

No need for flex pipes, I wouldn't bother with ceramic coating them for your NA either.

Thanks for the input Vic. My concern is keeping the underhood temps down, especially since the plug wires will sit directly above the headers. From what I've read ceramic coating is certainly not required on stainless steel exhaust components, but does help keep the pipes cooler. $340 is not chump change though.
