2004 Mercedes E500
Car is almost done.
Transmission works perfect. Brakes were shot, so I measured the rotors and they were in spec so I had them resurfaced. New pads and they work great now.
Changed the oil, checked cabin and intake filters.
Replaced the steering wheel, the wooden one was totally cracked and leather was beyond repair.
Started cleaning the car, used a ozone generator to get rid of smoke smell, previous owner was a smoker.
Before and after interior.
Took the car outside and started washing the 1 year of dust.
Cleaned up not bad.
Still need new tires and possibly motor mounts. Nav GPS is not working, showing different area and not moving. Also keyless GO on the driver side doesn't work at all.
I also have a connector I can't identify in the trunk by the tail light that is not plugged into anything. Anyone know where it goes?
