Easy Exit for tall people

I have only just found out that there is an option on the Star Diagnostic equipment that allows for an extra 6cm of travel for the drivers seat to move backwards on the easy Exit option

It asks the technician to obtain the owners signature before carrying out the adjustment, but it is well worth doing.

Now when getting into the vehicle the seat is much further back and for those that are 'vertically endowed' it is a worthwhile option.

Regards
John

I will check this out. But right now the dealer is going to (Friday) replace the seat module for the easy exit in it's entirety because when I exit the cabin, the seat moves forward !

Not unless you take the drivers seat out and sit in the rear seat.

The advantage of having this modification is when a 'midget' Harley Davidson riding driver gets out of the car.

The drivers seat will go back to the easy exit position, but for those that are much taller in height it can still be difficult getting into the vehicle.

With this modification when our Harley riding 'person' gets out of the car, the seat travels a further 6cm back making it much, much easier to get in.

John

Whenever I get out, my leg/body always hits the b-pillar.. mine should move up.
