Picked up the wheels from the wheel shop this afternoon and they look awesome.
Delivered them to the tire shop to have the Michelins installed, appointment tomorrow at 4:30 PM to do the wheel swap.

Darn, that looks good.
How about a picture from the rear showing staggered tires?

Gotta be 100% honest. The new wheels look like they just took 10 years off the car. Looks way more updated. My heart still <3 monoblocks! But I think you did the right choice. How is ride quality now compared to before? Was the ride quality on the monoblocks that bad but only because of the added spacers? IE: If they didn't need spacers do you think the ride quality would have been different?
Looks great!

The ride quality has improved dramatically and I will argue with anyone who is saying that spacers do not affect it. They DO, ....... and not in a good way!
I am pretty certain that the monoblocks without spacers would ride just as nice as these E63 wheels. Its the spacers that cause the car to behave the way it did.
And I have to say that those Michelins are pretty awesome in the rain, ........ great tire.

Glad you got your wheel situation sorted. The monoblocks were so badly tucked into the wheel wells, they had to have been S-Class monoblocks for you to need spacers. New wheels look sharp!

The monoblocks are from a W220 S Class, ............. I hope I can sell them.

Monoblocks are popular in the Volkswagen community. The offset is so high, they may be ideal for people who need adapters to mount them. Might be a good idea to list them on VW Vortex.

Houston, can you confirm how many mm or Inches of the lug bolt was sticking out the back of the wheels when you mounted the new rims with the longer (59mm) lug bolts?
Working on a wheel swap of my own and my hub holes measure 3/4 in (17mm) deep but I can only find 40mm long bolts (28mm is what I have now and it only leaves me with 1/4in or 6mm threads in hole) which with 1" of bolt sticking out the back which is 1/4 inch (7mm) longer bolt than stock and I want to know if it'll hit anything in the from or rear hubs with the extra length gong in the hub.
Thanks

All I can tell you is that the 59mm bolt worked, but I cannot confirm how far it was sticking out.
Sorry I was not able to provide you with the requested answers.
