Need help 12V socket doesn't work

Hi, I'm going on a 5 hour car trip tomorrow and need use of the 12V power slot, however the socket is dead. I only have the one in the rear as the main one was removed to install XM.

Does anyone know what fuse might be the issue, or if there is anything else I can do? As I'm leaving tomorrow, I don't think the dealer can help.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you sure it's actually dead? Some plugs don't seem to get contact, but if you twist them a bit, it will work. Just my .2

Bon Voyage!

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. After (with the help of a friend) tearing apart the car we found the fuse map and the actual fuse for the rear socket was mssing, not burned, just simply not there.

Used a spare from the tire kit and its working. I'd love to know why the fuse is missing, but at least I'm set.

Oh no! Another thing for the "decontenting" boys to pick up on. You know, "a fuse here, a fuse there and pretty soon you have saved a bundle of money!". :wall
