Rear diffuser on standard (non AMG) bumper

Rear diffuser on standard (non AMG) bumper
Hi all. Has anyone tried to fit a rear diffuser to a standard (non AMG style) bumper? I know that it won't be a straight fit and will need the bumper cutting etc but is it even close to fitting or does it absolutely need the AMG style bumper? I have a 2004 E320CDI Avantgarde and want the quad pipe / diffuser look but not overly bothered about the AMG bodykit. Car is a UK model btw if that makes a difference.

You need to get an E55 or E63 rear bumper and then find a diffuser that will fit that bumper. E63 diffusers won't fit an E55 bumper. I've never seen a rear diffuser for a non-AMG rear bumper.

Thanks. Yeah I know they don't make them for a standard bumper - just wondered if the E55 diffuser linked above could be made to fit by cutting the bumper / heating the diffuser etc...
