FUSE FOR LEFT SIDE FRONT LIGHTS?
opened up the LH headlight assy and found many bare and shorted wires. rewired what I could, and now
I have restored my H7 high beams. also, my turn signal now works, but NOT on the left side of the car.(I plugged
it in on the right side, and it works there)
SO, posing a new question. as mentioned, I was able to restore the function of the turn signal within the
headlight assy, but something in the chassis wiring is prohibiting the turn signals to work, on the left side.
within the fuse boxes are "pre fuses" and I am thinking that I might have toasted one of those. is there a pre fuse
or fuse dedicated to the front left turn signal that I might need to repair, AND is this in the fuse box in the trunk,
or the one on the drivers side under the hood.
Left turn signal = E1e5 wired direct into front SAM N10/1 (engine compartment) also ground W9 @ left headlamp see attachment.

would you like to speculate why I might have signal no LF turn signal? all other signals function properly.
I thought the pre fuse for 10/1 SAM was in the trunk? you are saying it is under the engine bay fuse box?
what other functions does 10/1 perform? first I lost my LH main beam and now I have lost RH; any correlation?
hoping that might be my issue, but wondering if that pre fuse controls other functions that I can test?
controls the turn signal as well. thought that the turn signal function was related to the plug for the main beam.

however, I am not getting any voltage at the grey/black wire for the LH front turn signal. in the wiring diagram
you sent me, (below) that wire, 48a, shows a rectangular box near the top. is that a fuse or a fuse link?
the way up to the front of the fuse box on LH side of engine.
so....my issue is under the fuses and perhaps that will give someone more insight in pointing me in
a direction??
into the bottom of the LH under hood fuse box/SAM.
at check for continuity, from the bulb to connection 5 on M3 and it is good. I also fed 12v to pin 5 on the M3 connector
and it powered up the lamp
I have attempted to establish continuity from pin 5 on the underside of the fuse box, and cannot follow the path. cannot
find the point of continuity??
I read a post about the turn signals having an electronic fuse? surely that would not be separate for each flashing bulb
how do I trace back from pin 5 and discover when my disconnect is?
