SRS and bad SAM?

SRS and bad SAM?
2003 e320
Right headlight Lo beam flickers occasionally and then SRS light would turn ON. It happens maybe once a month, usually immediately after turning ignition on with headlight switch in OFF position.
Scan with ICarsoft once showed open circuit in right headlight. Visual check didn't show any disconnected or broken wires and of course that will have to be verified by more professional methods.
Would that be bad right SAM module? (passenger side foot well location?)
Car has new battery and passenger seat occupancy bypass installed.
Would right SAM cause right headlight to flicker and trigger SRS light?
