RADIATOR COOLING FAN working on high... please help!!!
Hi All,
please note that I did my search before posting here.
I bought this 2004 W211 e500 4matic a month ago,
cooling fan is working on high mode..
here's what I did so
changed the fan with another one (nothing changed).
tested the fan wires I'm getting 12 on red ground on brown.
here's the trick
the small wires I'm getting ground when ignition is off. and when ignition is on I'm getting 12v on ignition wire and ~1 on the other wire.
I changed the coolant temperature sensor since I had only one error on ECU and it cleared now.
now I'm scanning and no error.
when turning the car/ignition on the fan goes on full blast mode.
removing the relay would not stop it.
thinking of other stuff might cause it before heading to change ECU.
thanks for looking.

just leaving the thread out here maybe someone will have the same issue.
simply the problem was the harness connecting the fan is spread so the wire coming from the sensor is not touching.
that simply solved it....
please note that I did my search before posting here.
