W211 beeps when locking doors
Hello Everyone,
This is my first ever post and my last hope to find something which could solve my problem. I have W211 from 2003. Recently I changed Aux battery as it was completely dead. After I went to my mechanic for car diagnostic. everything seems to be good, he played with some settings, tried to read SBC, but did nothing serious. When I parked my car for night and lock the door it started beeping and blinking the lights. I never had that kind of problem before. I can turn off that beeping by pressing PANIC button on the remote key. A long press and short one right after, turn it off. I tried almost everything: I reset the settings, turn off tow away button many times, check doors. At the end I removed F8 fuse not to disturb my neighbors, but with that doors need to be manually locked. I know the car is old and most probably many of you don't use it anymore, but I hope someone could help to solve that beep issue. Thanks in advance.

May need to replace siren unit internal failure - battery, circuit board corrosion can cause this problem. Compatible part #s 1718205326, 0048201926, and 1718202526.
