trouble bleeding brakes :(

got my rebuilt SBC back from modulemaster, and already emailed them about this, but seeing if anyone here knows

so I go to bleed the brakes, "establishing communication" appears on the screen, a few moments later I get "SBC ACTIVE" then it goes back to establishing communication, and seems to sit on that screen for a few minutes. eventually it just says turn off ignition, no errors or anything

I can hear the SBC making its usual noises. have no idea where to go from here

You might want to mention that you are using the carsoft MBii. So the issue is that you can't get to the option to deactivate it for bleeding?
