I'm on a list for an e500 for march delivery of 2003. If the 4matic is available then, will it be offered in conjuction with the sport pkg.

the current generation e class has not allowed these two to be combined for some reason here in the states.

does anyone know if the car is available in europe equipt this way?

I think generally, that Mercedes does not consider the 4matic a sports car...so I think that once again they will not offer the 'sports package' with the 4matic

 

It may not be available here in the US. In Europe you can get you E-Class anywhy you want it. There are even AMG E55's with 4-Matic in sedan and wagon (W210). The US availability is terrible. We are the single largest market and a small country like Japan has more models and options.
