Is this genuine 722.9 conductor plate or is it copy 1
Hi I just won and ebay listing for the conductor plate of my W211, I am just wondering is this a genuine one as the seller claims, I am suspecting that as the package of the part has the TCU number on it rather than MB part like 000270260080
I am afraid I will be screwed up, can somebody here confirms this is really authentic or am I getting copy 1 Chinese copy or what ever

Why'd you buy it if you're questioning the authenticity of it?

Power it up and check if its virgin or assigned to a car.

I think it is a new old stock as the date is June 23, 2010. Conductor plates were VSG3 by 2010. That is not the packaging that my from the dealer 722.9 VGS3 conductor plate came in - as mine was remanufactured / not new. That price is bonkers high - if you're OK with a reman from the dealer they're about half that price. Did you confirm fitment with VIN? Also - do you have someone to program it for you?

showing my ignorance here i fear.. but the is the plate different on a w211 than a w209 ? i'd guessed that the 722.9 is the same but i can see how mounting it to a diff chassis could mean a different plate.
anyway.. as kjb55 says.. WOW that is high.. agreed

The transmissions evolved over the years.
I have 2008 and 2014 models and they have different filters.
Since I bought both at same time, I compared them to be the same shape, but different filtering media.
MB also changed the service intervals.
From only service at 40k miles on early models to every 70k on later.
I feel the software is different too.
