I am extremely new to car repairs (all I have done is an O2 Sensor replacement). I was going to do attempt to repair my thermostat as I got a P0128 code, however, when I opened the hood I realized that my old mechanic broke this hose (im so ignorant I'm not even sure what to call it): https://imgur.com/a/QC76iUZ
I have two questions:
1.) I probably should fix this hose. Where can I find a replacement part? How would I look this up if I didn't have this forum? (I want to learn, not just ask everytime :P)
2.) Could this have contributed to that code or bring about any other problems down the line?
