Is my harmonic balancer still ok?
Hello all,
I have posted a video on YouTube of my 2003 E500's harmonic balancer in action. I think it's developing a slight wobble and may need to be replaced but I also could be imagining things and wanted to get some second opinions from the experts
No symptoms really, a slight shudder occasionally at idle as well as a chirping you can hear in the video.
Currently has 185,000 KM on the clock and I just replaced the plugs.

You are inspecting it wrong.
Stop the engine and observe the layer of rubber. When you have deep crack and can notice or measure that belt tension pulls the outer ring out of center >>> you need new balancer.
