Actually, I was looking for a car like that E320 4Matic and could find one. Guess you did.
Anyway, if you are leasing the year really doesn't make much difference. The '04 will be less expensive and includes scheduled maintenance. The 4Matic won't have nano-paint.
Go to KBB and find out the wholesale. You want to be about $1500, maybe $2000 tops above wholesale.
The RWD has a lower MF, .00235 vs .00280. Makes a difference, maybe $40/mo.
Both have a fairly high residual, 59% I believe. That may change. That residual is nearly what they are offering on an '05 CDI (61%)!!!
Now I only see a price of $60,415 on that 4Matic...does it also have metallic paint, tpm, and a heated wheel. If yes, what dealer?
Any way, the invoice is $57,604. So the $58, 750 is a good number.
For the $55,545 car, invoice is $51,707, so $52, 750 is also a good deal.
In either case you could try offering $2-500 less. Worst that could happen is he would say no. You just have to say, 'I have to think about'. If they can, they will probably move a little to make the deal.
Anyway...what dealer had the 4Matic?
