Exhaust Setup Advice Needed

Hey w211 owners, I'm in a dillema. I have an 07 e350 that I am trying to change for a better sound. I had a muffler delete on the car and absolutely loved the sound because it was deep and aggressive.

Recently I wanted the car to be louder so I deleted the resonator and straight piped it. Unfortunately I hate the sound. It sounds great when I start the car or am cruising but once I go passed 3 RPM or gun it, it sounds so bad. (BRAAAA - Like a ricer honestly).

I need advice on how I can get the same deep aggressive sound but louder WITHOUT the BRAAAA sound. I don't mind the drone. Also just spent $150 to get that resonator deleted so I really don't want to spend another $150-300 for something else I don't like.

I heard putting magnaflow mufflers would help but would that make the car quit again? Any other adive would be so helpful!

Weld in a 29" J pipe near the end of the exhaust. This will remove most if not all drone.

Hey thanks for the reply. I'm not really looking to get rid of the drone because I don't mind it much. Just the rattle and "braaa" sound from the exterior when I am going passed 3 RPM

Thanks

did you use an X pipe with the resonator delete?

I did not. I just straight piped it. The guys at the exhaust shop said installing an xpipe would make the sound smoother but wouldn't get rid of the fart sound or change the tone to a deeper level. Have you had other experience with that change?

Sell it and buy one with a V8 if you want something that doesn't sound like ****.
