I asked the Service people at my MB dealer today about the MP3 update and they did not know anything about this. The guy even went so far to say that MB wouldn't do this as MB states they do not allow for copied CD's to be played on their players ( ). He then stated that if Europe just got it then it will be sometime next year before Australia gets it. I concluded that this guy just didn't know and was full of .

Has anyone else in Australia enquired about the DVD MP3 software upgrade? Any suggestions on how I could pester MB Australia about this?

I showed the service guys that pic and part number and they confirmed that they can get it from Europe. They will be checking with the regional HQ to confirm it's ok for Aussie cars.

If all goes well I should get it in a few weeks
