W212 2010 E350 limo mode
Hi, purchased above had it for 3hrs and the engine management light came on and went into limp mode. Contacted dealer(Mercedes specialist) who said to return it. Had it checked diagnosed my end first and it had egr fault. On return to dealer it also read an egr fault and they replaced it. The car still went into limp mode so they sent it to main Benz and they done a software update and apparently this has resolved the problem. They are insisting on keeping the car for another week to run some miles up to make sure it’s ok. So they will have had the car for 3weeks and their lack of confidence in fixing the problem is unreasuring. If you spent £11,500 on a car and had this problem what would you do?

My limo model doesn't have those problems
Flashing the amount alone is deceiving. What is £11,500 percentage of original price?
With each used car you will have lot of things that needs checking and lot of things that can go wrong.
At least doesn't sound like you are paying for the fix, what could be real reason to ***** about.

No I’m not paying for the fix as the car was sold with 12 months warranty. I know the cars not new but buying from a Mercedes Specialist you would expect to get it home from the dealership without any problems. I don’t want to mess around and ideally want the car back working fine as it’s a nice motor just don’t feel confident with the service received.
