P1805

Hello everyone,
new around here, been lurking a little while since I got a W211 (E350 MY2007) recently. I do my own maintenance but I am used to Land Rovers and VW (from differentialreplacement to ATF & filter change, suspension, gaskets, and so on) , new to Mercedes though.
The 722.9 transmission goes into limp mode with error P1815 and I have not been able to see anything about this code in a Mercedes.

I fear is the conductor plate sending bogus info to the TCM or something, but if anyone has seen this error in the car, I would appreciate any input.

Thanks.

NOTE: I just double checked the code and it is P1805 not P1815, my mistake sorry.

OK
So I used a deeper scan mode and the tally of errors is 3: the previously reported P1805 and U0155 P2768
The P2768 is one of the speed sensors so I guess conductor plate it is.
Just cleaned all the DTCs but I suspect the P2768 will be back soon and more frequently every time....

Is this something Mercedes helps with? being a bad design and all? how bad can it be at the dealership, $1500?
I've seen the DIY video and it seems easy enough nothing I haven't done before, anyone has done it sucessfully?

Thanks
