2015 MB E350
E350 moaning noise
2015 E350 moans when coasting to a stop. When break is fully engaged the moaning stops. It moans every-time brake is applied to coast to a stop. If brake is pumped while coasting moan will stop and start with each reapplication of brake. When car has slowed and final full depression of pedal is applied the moaning stops. Tried with eco on and off. still moans with eco off. BreakPads are fine. It seems like another system is kicking in when brakes are applied. I have experienced this in other similar MB models. Can any explain the moan?

Took to dealer for moaning brake issue. Dealer reports caused by rusty rotors. No need to replace now, just live with the noise. Anyone have method of cleaning up rotors?

Are the rotors rusty? Any area that comes in contact with the pad shouldn't be rusty after the first stop from speed. Are you still on the OEM rotors/pads? The more info you give, the more people can help.
