Hi, can someone help? On my W211 2004 the radio is OK, but the CD will not load, looked up on the net and says check fuses #28 #26 (on drivers side) #6 (in the boot) problem is I cannot locate #26, there is nothing there, not even a fuse holder.
Can someone please advise? Dave

On my S211 wagon, when you opened the driver's door, there were fuses behind a panel that popped out when you pried it -- it matched the color of the dash.

I am wondering if anyone can help. Dave
Just tried to play a CD for first time and I keep getting an error message or something and I can't get them to play. They will load but then nothing, I forget what the exact message is (doesn't have anything to do with fuses just says error or something). Got the first song of one CD to play for about 5 seconds once and that was it. I tried 3 different CD's too and all did same thing. Yes they are older and might be scratched here and there but they play fine in house. Think it might just need one of those cleaner CD's?

Make your own thread instead of trying to piggy back of this guy's about a totally different issue.
If they're burned CDs, that could very well be your problem.
Drive holds one CD if a CD is already loaded it must be ejected. You can pull COMAND unit to check drive could be something as simple as lubricating. If this fails consider purchasing used unit I believe compatible part #s are 2118701189 & 2118701289 (i.e.: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-MB-M...d=183361002458) you can confirm this once unit is removed.
