05 E320 audio system upgrades
So this system is lacking that "punch" of what is in newer cars today, trying to figure out a way to fix it. It actually sounds like sub isn't that bad, and where it is lacking is mids and highs from speakers. It feels like the could go much louder but the amp is weak and can't get them there. I guess first and cheapest option would be upgrading current stock amp (I'm assuming it has one), and maybe interior speakers too if the amp alone doesn't do the trick. I'm just not familiar with the current components of the stock system and what is involved in upgrading them all. I'll probably get to the head unit eventually with one of those chinese Android ones that are either very easy or very hard to put in depending on who you listen to. Anyway what about the amp/speakers situation to start?

Sounds like it's not working properly?
Do a search of W211 section and you will find plenty of information.
