Check oil level alert

So I changed my oil 7-3-2018 and just recently I keep getting the alert to check oil level when refueling. Every time I check the oil level is ok. It reads just a little over the full line. Is that why it's keeps alerting me cause it's barely over the full line? Or is there something else wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Post a pic and ensure that it is seated properly before pulling out. I’ve read before where someone was reading the stick wrong.

You can also read the oil level on the dash display. The vehicle engine should be warmed up and the vehicle sitting on a level surface. Turn the engine off, wait a minute or so to let the oil level stabilize then turn the key back to the on position without starting the engine. The rest of the procedure involves holding the trip reset /dimmer light button It's not a laboratory calibrated reading but I've found it to be close if your oil level detector is functioning correctly..

Some videos that show how to do it

I am thinking it’s too full, because when you put when you fill the tank it could tip the car backwards slightly which could cause and over fill code. There is an oil fill threshold, which the oil level must be maintained within.
