Phone not connecting to cradle
When I try connect my phone to the Bluetooth cradle it disconnects immediately after connecting then says “phone off”.
I turned the car on, pressed the Bluetooth button till it flickered, it then appeared on my phone. I then tried to connect, I typed in the code, my phone said the car (it recognized it as a car) wants to access my contacts etc, I allowed this and the screen on the car then said processing. After this my phone said connected then “not-connected” a second later and they car says “phone off”.
It’s a W211 with the Audio 20 system and I’m using an iPhone 6S

Is this the first time you are trying or did it used to work earlier?
5S works fine in my 2008 W211 - do you have a chance of trying older model iPhone?

It’s the first time I’m trying to connect. I tried with a 5S, 4S and Nokia E63. The Nokia gets the connection request from the car after pairing and makes a connection but it’s dropped a second after. The light on the cradle is always flashing.

Are you sure you're using the right code? Also bluetooth usually just works fine. What year is your car? Depending on the year, you can also try disconnecting the puck and reinstalling it. Also shut the phone off, restart it, delete old bluetooth entries and try it again. As I recall, sometimes iphones have issues, try it with an android phone to see if it's your iphone or not. The 3rd gen puck is a bit more reliable than the 2nd gen.

Yeah the code is right, it accepts the code (the code from the instruction manual). The car is 2005 with the Audio 20 system
not COMAND. Also it’s not the Bluetooth puck, it’s a blackberry Bluetooth cradle. This cradle is for the phone to connect via Bluetooth it doesn’t have a place for the phone to directly connect to the car it’s only used for antenna reception and had two charging points on the side. A212 820 07 51

I don’t have a Blackberry or Android Phone but I’ll try get hold of one to see if it works.
