CLS 350 2005 (I know this forum for w211 but same engine )
today i found unknown wire place the wire came with engine temp sensor there are three wires came two for temp sensor and the other I do not know can any one tell me where its used for
I took some picture for it
thanks for reply about the colors wires red and black and black with yellow not very sure because engine heat made wires color unclear the wires was with out cover by the way I have E350 2007 same engine but the CLS from Europe market and the E350 from US market I looked at the e350 engine thermostat wires just two wires not like CLS three wires maybe there are different between two markets

Please start over! are you trying to identify a connector that has two wires OR 3 wires? Clean the wires off the connector and post a new photo and state what the colors are.
example: blue wire with yellow stripe and red wire with green stripe and the year and model and engine. Do not add other conversation, keep it simple. You can clean grime off wires by using hand cleaner like Gojo
