What does this alert mean?

I received this alert in my car today, but can only theorize as to what it's telling me... Low coolant? Looks fine to me? Temperature is also fine (even a little cool)

Does anyone know conclusively what this actually means? It came on as soon as I started the car.

When I cleared the alert, it came back immediately. This happened multiple times. After stopping the car, turning it off, and back on, it went away and didn't come back.

The manual gives detail that includes possible failure of the electric radiator fan. Definitely double check your coolant level.

thanks for the reply.
I will take a look at the fan next time the light comes on. Also, my fluid looks ok I think? Just an inch or so below the fill line? Could this be throwing the alert?
in the pic below, the car had been parked for about 4 hours so the fluid was just a little warm at most.

It doesn’t seem low enough to throw a light. Adding some distilled water wouldn’t throw off the mix at all - it’s worth a try.

More then likely a sensor is going bad, and you might have to get a new coolant reservoir and associated parts. It's really an DIY, check with Pelicanparts.com to view how too's.

doesnt this icon mean your car is overheating? maybe you thermostat doesnt open. you can always get an IR thermometer and check it at the coolant junction if you have access to one somewhere....

MB-oriented scanner should pinpoint the error in just seconds.
