mercedes WBD 211 inquiry

if I replace SBC unit with a different SBC part number will there be any malfunctions..i have a mercedes E208..2008 model

I would check your vehicle to see if there is SBC on it. I believe SBC was replaced with conventional braking system starting in model year 2006.

Close. In the US, SBC went away with the 2007 model year so 2006 was the last year for SBC. The US didn't have the model he mentioned so no idea what they did in other countries.

Look up the SBC part number by your vehicle identification number. Some are interchangeable with upgraded SBC units but you won't know until you look up the part number by VIN. Post your VIN and one of us will look it up when we have time. Or you can just call the dealer. Put your location in your profile so we have an idea if you are in Europe, Africa, Asia,Pacific, or North America. Different models in each area.
