I have the P0521 code. The full message is: P0521 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Range/Performance
My problem is I can not find any oil PRESSURE switch on the M272 engine. Wherever I search I find the oil LEVEL switch.
Is there no oil PRESSURE switch or sensor on the M272?

Where is oil pressure switch on m272. It’s item 220 in picture
I can not see any picture.
I have not seen any M272 engine with a oil pressure sending unit to show actual oil pressure somewhere.
What Mercedes call oil pressure switch is a unit submerged in the oil pan.
It measures the pressure from oil in the oil pan above the "switch". When the level goes below a certain value the "switch" feels too low pressure and a contact is closed and illuminates a warning light on the instrument panel.
