W211 Weird problems. Need advice :(
Hi everyone,
I have some weird problems on my W211 that i would really love to know how to fix.
1. The backlight on the fuel and temperature gauge's were not working for a little over a year, and one random day I started my car up the saw the they started to work, but were flickering (Video of flickering). The next time I started the car, never seen them work again.
2. The rear left door of this car just randomly stopped locking and the window also stopped to respond, the weird part is that the door starts to work when its open and im locking and unlocking with the key.
3. Rear window defroster is not heating up. Button on ac unit light's up, fuse is good, relay clicks everytime..

1. might need to have to take the instrument cluster out and get the lights fixed (they are built into the circuit board)
2. check the wiring in the door jamb might have broken connection
3. make sure you are getting power to the rear defrost with a multi-meter when the button is pressed
