Mirror Parking Position

i have a 2009 E350 4matic wagon. I have tried to set the side view parking mirror function. It is not working. Is this function optional?

yes it is. I followed the sequence in the manual for memorizing, but nothing.

MY09 believe it or not some vehicles have this features, others do not. If you know someone with STAR check this post: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post7091874

If yours is disabled, what you can do is program your seat for memory #1 and then use memory position 3 with the mirror down and just switch back and forth. I seem to recall they disabled it so you wouldn't burn out the mirror motor. But then it works fine in the next gen W212.

Thanks Great idea! Had this feature on 2 90's BMWs so surprised it isn't on the Merc.

My W210 does it when you have the right mirror selected, my W211 doesn't. I like that feature.

This was the fix for my 2006 wagon. I'm the only one who drives my car.
