E350 2006 Need help! No start No crank

Greetings,

I have a busted car.
This is what I had done so far:

New battery
sent out the keys and electronic ignition switch to check out if they are working fine
checked all the fuses
replaced the brake switch
checked small battery in engine compartment

the car was driving fine. stopped at parking area. got back on the car 5 minutes later and it would not crank.

When I place the key turn it, when it springs back, the battery icon shows up with the message "visit workshop".
I had it towed home and I have been looking for the solution ever since.

could it be this:? Module Battery Control Unit Relay a2115403845

Guys, I really need your help on this one.

Have you had the car scanned for codes? That'd be the first step so you're not just throwing money at it. Any answers will also just be guesses at this point.

I scanned it tonight and got:

P0607
P0462
U0155

Since I removed the instrument panel to be able to take out the electronic ignition switch, that would explain u0155.
P0462 is probably that while I had the key in, I switched both the starter and fuel pump relays.
As for the other one, I am wondering if the ecu/pcm needs to be reprogrammed or replaced.

Can independent mercedes shops update/re-flash the pcm?

Most likely engine control module (ECM), replacement requires programming. Definitive diagnose pull codes using MB diagnostics providing MB DTC i.e.: 0889 – 0900. Google “Mercedes ecm” for online sources offering plug & play avoiding dealer.
