Thanks! BTW, @Inspiredbenz I work in corona and live in Irvine. If you need help let me know, more than happy to help.
So there is a long process to this but i will explain.
Here is the grill i purchased for my 2008 e350:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-W211-Grille-E-Class-07-09-GRG-W211-0708G-CL4-BK-Fits-Mercedes/263743859994?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2060353.m2749.l2649
Here is the link for the LED Mercedes light enblem i used:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Illuminated-LED-Light-Front-Grille-Star-Emblem-Badge-for-Mercedes-Benz-06-13-Car/253900993915?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2060353.m2749.l2649
Step 1: What i did was remove the center star unit on the original grill that i purchased. If you look from the inside of the grill, there are three points that you have to pry out using a flat head screw driver. The emblem will then pop right out, leaving a hole in the center of the grille where we then will need to adhere the LED Emblem to.
Points to pry out the Emblem unit from Grille
Step 2: Next will be to removed the silver Mercedes emblem from the LED Mercedes Emblem unit. You can use your fingers to pry off this emblem from the unit (see image for contact points to pry off)
Points to remove the LED Emblem on unit.. Same points will then need to be cut flush for step 3.
Step 3: Now cut those silver contacts that are used to hold the top silver benz emblem flush(sand if you need to).
Step 4: I used JB weld Plastic clear weld glue to adhere the now flush benz emblem directly back on top of the LED emblem unit. Make sure not to use too much glue that it gets everywhere, especially where the Light from the LED will be emitted from (clear plastic on emblem)
Step 5: Next, your going to want to sand the back lip of the emblem (see third image) throughout the entire unit. This will help create a better bond once we glue it back onto grill.
points to sand flush, there are more sides on top that i didnt circle but you can find them once you have the unit.
Step 6: Cut out the area indicated for your front hood latch to go through. I cut some of the side as well so that it completely fit through. I will update with an image later on.
Cut out indicated area for front hood latch.
Step 7: Glu the LED emblem unit onto the Grill you removed the original emblem from using same epoxy from JB Weld. Make sure to keep an eye on the unit that it doesnt move from the center of the grill. I checked on it every 5 minuted for about 30 minutes to make sure it was set in the correct place. Also, dont use to much glue.
Step 8: I have LED front headlights from ddm tuning which require Code cancelers. I used the wire from the emblem to tap directly into my Code cancelers on my front left headlight. I know others who tapped into their city lights with cable splices so that the emblem only comes on at night but that process was to hard for me. Plus you cant really even see the emblem during the day so i chose to tap this way.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

Beautiful!
I'd like to keep the chrome grill look vs. the black grill.
Would you mind sharing where you got your grill and the star? I am hoping they carry the chrome grill.

Someone backed into my grille (and didn't leave a note) so I guess its time for me to order one with an emblem and do the LED upgrade.
What store did you go to in order to get the emblem? I am trying to source one right now.
