Seat Swap '04 E500 into '06 E350?
Hi everyone, We have a 2006 E350 with cracked MB Tex / leather centers on the front seat bottoms. I've found a set of 2004 E500 seats in the same grey interior color that look like they should fit. Does anyone know if these will work in the later E350? Is the wiring etc. the same?
Thanks,
Thanks,

FYI, this did not work. The wiring for the pre-06 seats from the e500 is differnt than the e350 wiring. The physically fit but would not work with the electronics. While the seat covers look very similar, they are a slightly different shape so I could not swap the seat covers either.

Further update. The E500 seats that would not work are up for sale in the classifieds.

Do you still have these for sale by chance? I see the listing is expired but I may be interested if you still have them. Also are they heated? Thanks!

Yes, I still have the seats in storage in Newport Beach CA. They are supposed to be heated but I've never tried them because as you can see from this thread I could not get them to work in my later E350. I don't have a way to ship them. Want to DM me?
