Stereo question!
My mom has 220 cdi 2003 model, and she has a basic benz stereo system with audio casset (spl?) she doesn't have a cd changer but the stereo has CD button... i have a question for you guys.
Is it possible to connect aftermarket cd changer to it?
Because for the price of stock MB CD changer we can put CD changer with extra speakers lol

you can always go aftermarket, and add a cd player to it, im not sure what your looking for, if you want to change out the head unit, thatll be nice, but it wont look stock, or you can maybe get a changer in your glove box, or in the trunk, maybe your dealer can help you out with that? but anyway you do it, the dealer will prolly charge more. Does the stereo have a CD slot built in?
Either way, you cannot connect an aftermarket changer. You can't even connect most of the Mercedes changers. It only will work with a few.
If you have an Audio 50, replacing the stereo will cost you more than the cost of a CD changer from the dealership. That is, if it is done correctly.
An Audio 20 is much easier to replace (electrically), assuming you can get the dash adapter to fit a standard stereo in (physically fitting).
