Arnott Air Strut Question
One of the air struts I purchased for my wagon isn’t charged and a paper packed with the strut says to check and make sure they are or contact my retailer.
i was really hoping to install these this weekend. Can I charge the strut myself? Can I install it uncharged and have the system pump it up before I put any weight on it?
is the fact that it’s not charged mean it leaked?
thanks
Eric

Defective. Ship it back. Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I even offered a suggestion on how Arnott could prevent shipping defective struts that would be a no-cost effort; I rather doubt anything will be done. Cost me an extra week to replace the strut. What irritated me to no end was I had the car suspension disassembled by the time I discovered the new strut was defective; had to reassemble the suspension and then do it all over again a week later...
