You'll have to remove some trim panels, but its located in the spare tire well in the back of the car.

Gents,

Many many thanks for your reply... I went to Mercedes El Paso and they informed me that my Mercedes does not have a battery control module... Whatever. Please allow me to ask one more question; where do you have all this information? I have 2 320E sw's, one is a 2001 W210, the other is a 2004 W211, so I would be more than happy to buy the book or DCs to have all this infos.
