Front left suspension dropped to ground overnight

2006 E350 4matic - without Airmatic, just standard suspension
Parked the car at night and was all right. Came back in the morning the front left is all the way down, tire touching the wheel well.
Anyone have this issue before? Before I get a chance to dissect the car I was thinking it is spring or a shock.

You have entered the abysmal airmatic darkness that plagues almost all of us. I switched to coilover; it's the only way to fly if you own a Benz. Just wanted you to know you are not alone in your misery. Lex

Wish I had airmatic... But I don't 🥺
I was forced into low riding dirty into town even without the air springs.
