So frustrated with W211 shocks...

I have a '09 E350 4Matic w/ Sport Pkg. I need new shocks at 70K miles (the ride quality has become absolutely intolerable, bouncy ride and rear wheel kept getting loose when cornering over semi-unsmooth pavement) and I am having a hard time finding parts for its front shock absorber. The only front shock absorber I can find are Original MB from dealerships. There are plenty of W211 4Matics on the road and I find it shocking that I can't find any aftermarket parts for it on the internet... Any help or reference would be appreciated

TL;DR Need aftermarket shocks for W211 4Matic w/ Sport Suspension

I looked on Ebay, Tirerack, Advance Auto, Bilstein catalog, KYB catalog...and nothing. If you know where I can find it, why don't you show me? But I don't need your help anymore, the nice people at benzworld gave me some pointer and found what I wanted on AutohausAZ, and they're on sale for half off!

I'll leave this link here for other W211 4matic sport owners: http://www.autohausaz.com/pn/2113239300

EDIT:The CORRECT parts you need for a North American 2009 MB E350 4Matic with Sport Suspension/AMG pkg without Airmatic are the following, nevertheless, double check with dealer using your vin:

A 211 323 6500 LEFT FRONT SHOCK
A 211 323 6600 RIGHT FRONT SHOCK

What I listed earlier, as suggested by someone else, only works on E320 4Matic, E500 4Matic and E550 4Matic w/o airmatic, AUTOHAUSAZ miscataloged the parts! Also, it seems no one but mercedes benz dealer carry this part, there is no aftermarket at all. My quest to save a few bucks have failed

Ditch the airmatic and go with coilovers. I did them on my 211 55k and I've NEVER looked back.

Relax, man. I just saw your post. I'm a little confused about what you have, but if you have a 4matic with no airmatic, then go input your car specs over at partsgeek.com and see what they've got for you. If you do have airmatic, which I love,, then you absolutely positively want to install whatever Arnott solution is appropriate for your car. This stuff is better engineered, and vastly cheaper than the Mercedes stuff. PartsGeek sells Arnott, but Arnott has a great website and catalog that you should review. Our friends at FCP euro provide a very high level of service, and their prices are often competitive with partsGeek. PartsGeek has very nice knowledgeable people you can call, & I usually recommend that you do that rather than ordering online, because sometimes they'll offer some discounts even over the low prices they normally charge, and you have the benefit of a nice person to review your order with you and make sure its the right part. You can do the same thing at FCPeuro as well.

Wish I saw this link earlier. I just went through all this 2 months ago. Ordered everything from Parts geek and my front struts and mounts were wrong. I ordered for a 4matic and not sport. I have 4matic and sport. Wound up getting the fronts from the dealer and cost me a ton of money.

But I have the same complaints the OP has with the ride. It rides and handles much better now but the car just doesn't absorb the bumps like it's supposed to. My mechanic swears to me it's the wheels and tires which are stock wheels and Conti tires.

I really like the car but I am thinking about trading it in.

As mentioned earlier, the only E350's that had airmatic was the rear suspension on the E350 wagons. Regular sedan E350's didn't have airmatic. Airmatic was only on the E550 and E63. It's in the brochure at:

There really are tons of options for shocks for your car. Arnott is probably the best quality aftermarket. I bought Arnott coilovers, installed myself, and have never thought about my shocks again!
